Eh... there have been so many wacky ideas that GM has came up with for the Corvette during it's lifetime that never happened. GM has looked into rotaries, wagons, and thought of going mid engined. None of that ever happened, and neither will this.

I would think brass would really want to see the sales numbers on the Panamera before committing to a low volume niche car, after GM worked so hard (cough cough) to get rid entire lines they considered underperforming. I agree about CTSV; they aren't going to be so hasty to build things that compete with existing product, I would imagine.

I think the idea is an insult everything that Corvette stands for. I believe the Vette to be all that is muscle and kick ***. 4 doors screams sedan, in my opinion, and could very well be the transition to the eradication all perfomance vehicles...but this is only one man's opinion...

If they make it, which I doubt, why risk ruining the Corvette name? Call it something else.
Sort of like the new SLP "Firehawks".. Why? SLP had so much Firehawk merchandise in inventory? Didn't want to trademark a new name/logo? But I digress..

Meh, Nothing but rumors.....stuff like that spreads all the time. I seriously doubt GM would make a 4-door corvette. Now maybe a Caprice or Lumina or something along those lines maybe but if it were to compete with the Panamera....well then they have one its called the CTS-V.
