Default Anyone in oil and gas/energy industry?

What job prospects are there for someone with a Physics BS with no geophysics courses? After this semester, I'll be three hours shy of being a senior, so graduation is on the not-too-distant horizon (spring 2012).

Not too late to get an engineering degree or minor. That will get you a lot further, and having that physics background is basically mechanical engineering's foundation.

Yes. It is. I only need one 4000-level math course to get a math minor, so that's what I'm doing. I've already taken all my free electives, so everything now is required, a physics elective, or that 4000-level math course I need. I'm just wanting to see what my chances are with my degree.
