Cool Amost done with the garage.

We just finished phase 2 of my 30' x 20' garage/gym this weekend.

18' x 20' garage
12' x 20' gym

You can see that I decided to keep the garage slab sloped so that the water will run off when I wash the cars.

I made the gym slab leveled.

Pic of the Z's sitting outside while the garage is finished:

One thing ... that gym is going to be an oven in the summer. Need to get some insulation up.

It rarely rains hard enough here for the hill to bring down too much soil, but when it does, I have mud pit in my back yard...well a clat pit really.

I've talked to the property owners about taking a backhoe back there and clearing some of that soil to reduce run off.

If you take a look at the REAR pic, u'll notice the slab is raised about 8" off of the ground, I had a small ridge built the sides of foundation to prevent soil errosion.

I'll also be building a small retaing wall in the near future.

I bought 2 yards of gravel from a local pit yard.
$30 a yard
I'm gonna have to go get some more when I have some free time.
Its a good base for the concrete I'm gonna have poured later on.

It's my birth year Z, '81.

I'll be dropping a LT1/T56 into her pretty soon.
It will be a total swap, interior & all.
I have the N90's waiting to be refurbished.
