Default Would this cam work for an auto with a stock stall?

I want a better cam, and was wondering if this would give me any problems. I have a 2000 WS6 with a stock A4, stock stall.

cam specs are
226/229 .575/.578 112LSA

Also, how would the drivability be after a good tune?

That is the raggedy edge for the stock converter i think, i wouldnt do it, i have sued bigger cams with a stock converter for temporary and it just sucks till you get the converter, but you might be ok if you have a decent gear.

A cam that size will chop super hard with the stock idle speed of 550 in drive. If that's what you want, go for it. Just don't expect to be quicker than stock cammed guys in the stoplight battles without a converter.

You'll see a batter short track performance gain from a stall then a cam. If you gonna go with a 224 I would pick up a 3200 stall.
