My god there's so many twists and turns to this story I can't keep up. When's Elvis coming back to life?
no ****, how do u think i feel......1 of 2 things is going to happen...1- i get a new rebuilt shortblock, 2- i get my $600, 3-..................
he is working on it, i know everyone that he is getting a hold of to try and get it fixed. I dont think the block is good b/c of scratches in the cylinders from the bearing material...new pics in a few!!
At least I feel better now knowing your not a english teacher. Its amazing that you know how to set up these security programs (Pro Watch / c-cure / Pelco)
been doing it 8 years.....didnt know i needed an english degree for it. i must be doing something right, i run the company, only person above me is the owner
OP I am betting you will never see your 600.00. F him and the grammer Nawtzis.

here are some new pics, dunno if the block can be saved, its already been bored to a 3.898, and look at the scratches on the piston skirts
also heard from an "unknown" source that he is supposed to be going to LMR monday to get a crank, and new rod. My major concern is how much bearing material went through the engine. how do i know the rings are ok? guess we will see monday what the guy, that he wants to assemble the engine, has to say about the damage. Glad to know that he is making phone calls....i just have my doubts about the motor being salvageable.
somone else said that, i thought it was just the way it was cast.....if its not the way its cast, please, someone tell me!!
It looks like mine did (from what I can see).
*Edit* - Yea, it looks fine. Here's a pic of my block from the top. You can see the rough casting around the edges like yours has.

I had a person sell me some bad auto parts a couple of years back. Instead of getting on a forum and crying like a baby back bitch, we did things differently.
This is old school taking care of business.
