I am currently getting ready to do a cam swap on my 98 ss m6, i have an MS3 cam, springs, rods, ls6 ported oil pump and ls2 timing chain. I recently was told i need bigger injectors, that makes total sense to me but would i need a new fuel pump as well if i were to upgrade to 42lbs injectors. Any suggestions on injectors to get as well? Any .02 is welcome.

I really have no clue, I just bought the car in my sig and it runs fine, I guess. If I had new heads though I think it would run a LOT stronger.

My cam is a little bigger than yours but my stock injectors were at max when tuning started, car would only go to 5700 rpm, you could try red top 30lb or I went with 38lb ford, which is at 42 for ls1. After tune I was at 73% duty cycle. I'm on stock fuel pump and everything went fine with bigger injectors.

I have got a set of 38# from procharger that were too small as soon as i started tuning, have less than 75 miles on them.. Will take $300 for them (paid $425).. they are ev1 connector and will pop right in place..

artymarine, you can get the ford green tops cheaper then $300. Check the sponsors and see what they can do you for.

those would be more on an ls1, If you want 42lb injectors get 38lb ford. Mine are actually like 43lbs. 38s will be perfect.
