Default Well ****. I need to know?

Aside from a bad night at work, I woke up this afternoon to find out a tree branch fell of and busted my back hatch. Im pretty sure but not for certian, but dont u just have to replace to whole hatch, or can the glass be replaced?

Damn Nick that sucks. I would check your insurance. Most policies have glass coverage no deductable. It should be able to be replaced.

Yeah i would say the same. You should be able to just replace the glass.

Yes I still have insurance on it even though its not drivable for reasons like this, plus my insurance isnt very expensive anyway. I was just wanting to know if anyone had any experiance with replacing the back window.

I dunno what happend. I was driving normaly and something gave way, it knocked for a second and died. Its hard as hell to crank and it wont ilde at all. Oh and when the motor was able to run it knocked like crazy, loss of power, missing, all the signs of a bearing or rod.

a buddy of mine has a silver hatch for sale, its just sitting in his garage, i can ask him how much he wants for it if you want. that sucks man

On the motor make sure nothing is seized that runs off of the belt (ac, ps, alt, etc.) That could be putting the strain on the motor. Longshot, but it's happened to me before.
