NO AUTO!!! They suck and cost a fortune to repair. M6 and some reflex training and you will shift it like an auto. Get you something from 06 and newer. try to avoid the early 06s with the dough boy steering wheels, they are just left over 05s to clean up the assembly line. No silver... its a very thin base color and dies fast if you leave it in the weather. The Ls2 is a machine if done correctly, Ive seen them beat the living **** out of the Ls7 motors. Good luck!

Upside to buying an automatic Corvette? You wouldn't need to carry around that heavy man-card all the time.

Don't let high school kids and guys like Tony sway you from getting an automatic. There's nothing wrong with driving an automatic, it's all preference (that's why they make them.)

There are pro's/con's to both and only you can decide which best suites you.

The Vette's I see in my area are all autos, owned by no one younger than 55, and driven slow as hell! It's sad.

This is a true fact, in my area they are also in their years with autos. I asked several and they say they just dont want to hassle with shifting gears.

Or they have back problems. Or shifting gears gets in the way of eating/drinking/talking on the cell phone.

In my DD (Accord), I got an automatic, because I want a comfortable ride.

In my C6, I got a manual, because I want to drive.

I would probably have to go with the M6, but that's my high school man card talking. If the M6 is what you want, get it.

I loved my A4 SS but I have my M6 T/A also. I felt like I drove a lot crazier in the Camaro though because I could just drive and not have to worry about shifting. I wanted to try the auto out and I am glad I got the chance, was a sweet car but I couldn't part with my T/A. It was nice to mess around with your girls and talk to your buddies without having to shift every 5 seconds. Drive both and see what you think, you might like the auto more, I sure did. Usually during my daily routine, I am eating on the way to school or dying from the heat on a parts run from work so the M6 would really get on my nerves. That's why I would drive the Chevelle around when I went on parts runs.

Plus, you can dig through your purse while accelerating.
