Default 416 Dyno Results

Finally got the car on the dyno. We put around 600 miles on it before strapping it down on the rollers. I did this so we could tell the tuner about any issues that we were having with the driveabilty of the car.
Flaco did the base tuning and was with us at the dyno. Now for the results. The good news. NA the car put down 508 hp with the curve being nice and smooth. The engine pulled all the way to 7150 rpm with Ed's (FTI)cam and spring package, and L76 intake. 7200 rpm is where the limiter is set. Looks like we will be going with a Vic Jr or the new GM Hi rise intake and T-body Plate. This set up wants to rev. Now for the bad news.
We fought a no start condition for several hours when the wiring for the Timing Tuner went bad. This harness connects to the crank sensor and when it went bad the engine would crank but would't spark or fire the injectors. The computer didn't give us any DTC's so it kicked our *** till we figured it out. After by passing the Timing Tuner Flaco put a N2O tune in the PCM and we were ready for a pull. On the first nitrous pull things went from bad to worse. Half way through the pull the torque converter bolts backed out and all hell broke loose.
The damage at best is a new fly wheel , oil pan, converter rebuild, and tranny bell housing. I haven't pulled the tranny yet so I don't know if the pump or shaft is bad. All in all the day sucked!!! This project has been on going for 2 years and looks like it will continue for another 6 mos. Thanks to Flaco for his help and to Richard at Strictly Performance for the Dyno rental.
We will be back with further up dates. Oh the dyno pull was with the converter locked through a 4L60E, 4:11's and 275-35-18 drag radials. Non corrected with mid 90's out side temps. IATs were in the 100-104 range.

Heres the video link. I was disappointed with only 500 but the intake is holding us back. Sorry no graphs. I'l ask Flaco if he has them on his laptap. I wasn't concerned with them after what happened.

Were you on a stock converter and trans? I put 560whp through my locked A4 and 427ci LS3...hell 700/800 on the bottle. It seems to be holding fine. But I have a tripple disc converter made to be locked up at wot and a Performabuilt tranny.

The heads are the L-92's. They were ported by The Head Shop here in Houston. No the trans is a Rossler and the convertor was working. The bolt holes were worn and the bolts backed out. Thats my guess till I tear into it.
We were spraying a 150 shot through a Harris plate when it let go.
6.0 nice #'s do you have a graph, and what manifold are you running. Yea we are thinking 7-850 hp on the JUG. My old 383 put down 680-720 on the jug.
