So today, I'm parked in a parking lot and randomly my ac starts blowing warm air, and I notice amoke coming from under my hood. I turn off my car, pop the hood, and see smoke coming from what LOOKS like the AC belt pulley farthest to the left. I start up my car and start to hear this... It only happens when my ac is on.

Well, Advance auto was having a 4th of july special where everything was 20% off, so I got a new compressor for $230. Thing is, I wonder if there was a coolant leak that caused it in the first place? When I got back to my apartment, and looked at my parking spot, I noticed a puddle of red coolant right about where my compressor was. Thing is, I haven't used red coolant in MONTHS. I've been using the green stuff lately, so I wonder if that has something to do with it...

Well, I had the compressor, accumulator, and orifice tube replaced today. The old compressor was full of liquid, so I'm assuming it just crapped out.
