I guess I missed where the inspiration for this ad came from, but it is pretty funny.

Just in case it gets taken down:

Hello! I'm selling my 1984 Corvette. It's in perfect condition the only reason I'm selling is because I'm moving 3 blocks down the street. Everything works great on the car! This car is ready to go for you to have fun this summer! The only problems with the car is it won't start. I don't know why but my mechanic/next door neighbor said it can be fixed by purchasing a fuel filter at the auto parts store for $5. The AC works perfect in the car except it won't blow cold air. There is a small oil leak but I just put a quart a day in and I don't notice a thing.

The interior and body are in perfect condition (for a car this age). The driver and passenger side seats have rips, the dash is cracked, there is no radio, and the back seats are missing. There is no rust on the car at all.................. except for the quarter panels, left fender, motor mounts, exhaust, antenna, and driver side door has a small basketball size rust hole. The body shop said it was only $100 to fix it all.

Don't pass up this absolute steal at a super low price! I lost the title but I know the guy who knows the guy that has a friend who sold him the car. He's in prison but I'll give you a bill of sale. Getting the title is SUPER EASY and you can do it for like two bucks! Won't take long at all! I would of done it myself but I work 28 hours a day 9 days a week. I don't have time!!

If you want to hear the car run you need to bring your own battery. And your own oil. And probably your own key.

Below isn't the picture of my car but it is a car JUST LIKE IT.

(does this ad sound familiar?)

That is so true ! So many ads for cars on CL, especially the older ones, don't include a title. And they try to make it seem like it's really easy to get a title. It's anything but easy to get one and "bonded titles" are expensive and the previous owner can show up and claim the car for a good while, 3 years I think.
