I thought most of the desiel trucks were in the outlaw class?

I went. It turned out pretty good this year. There were no delays which made it nice.

Nah trucks had their own class. Burnouts yes. I got some good ones last night. lol

The burn out box is 100 ft from the starting line.. really odd.. so everyone was doing their John Force impression. I made it to the semi-finals in the outlaw class. Got knocked out by a Single T Grand National that's well into the 10's. He beat me by less than a car. Not sure how I pulled that off. Fun night.

I saw your car out there..Runs really good. If I remember correctly, that Grand National got beat on his first race, bought back in, and started winning. There was a black Z06 out there that was CLEAN, but he got knocked out in the first round.

Thanks, surpised how many fast street cars came out. A classic '69 z28 was there with a 396 + 200 shot that runs 6.1's in the 1/8th. Nice ride.

That black z06 is 640rwhp on the bottle. Surprised he didn't make it through.

Good meeting you InsomZ

I made it to the final eight then got knocked out by two car lengths by the Nova Duece coupe that lost to the Black 69 Z28 in the final round. First time racing my car. Couldn't get it out of the hole, would either spin or bog on drag radials pending RPM, didn't even try the transbrake, All motor too. Got to have a power adder and slicks out there to make it far into the Outlaw class

Not even close to true.
I won outlaw last year on motor alone and MT DR's.
Everyone else was on the jug.

So you are saying you were faster than everyone else who was on the jug? Unlikely. There are alot of variables out there, and a variety of cars in Outlaw. I won my first round against a faster car that pulled me hard out of the hole and shut down early due to problems and reeled a slower car in on the second round. All the cars in the final eight were faster than I last night. Circumstance plays a large roll in making the finals in this kind of racing, not consistant ET on the clock. I stick to my thought if I had been on my slicks with the bottle hooked up I would likely had made it further against the faster cars and hope to get the nitrous tune done in time to get back up there with slicks on and try again, it's all fun.
I still have your Drag-N-Brag video saved on my hard drive and was sorry to hear you sold your car !!

Was this the final?
