Hate to see you get rid of the LT1 WS6 as those are getting pretty rare. The LS1 ws6's are a dime a dozen these days and honestly I see more LS1 WS6's then actual LS1 T/A's. My opinion, hang on to that baby.

I vote 240sx lsx swap. You can get all the information you need in the conversion/hybrid section of this website. Those cars handle exceptionally well with suspension mods, and would have all the power you would need with an LS1. Even with the little SR20, it would be a quick little car. The SR20's are potent with some boost (although overrated in the import world imo).

All that said, if I were going to do this I would buy a cheap 240sx and sell the WS6. Theres really no point in trading straight up for an SR swapped 240 if you are just going to pull the motor out of it to do a different swap. I think you might come out slightly better financially that way.

I agree. Keep the ws6 and buy a cheap 240. Don't sell yourself shorrt by trading. Especially for a 91. Those are dirt cheap. I sold my mint condition 98 for 3k. 91 bodystyles are crap go for the newer one. Suspension and handling alone is worth it. Imo

You sold a 98 for 3k? Sad, could probably pull an easy 6-8k if it was good body and running.

keep the ws6. despite what you'll hear from half the people on this forum, the lt1 is a halfway decent motor, and who knows, maybe it'll be worth something some day. spend the money that you would have spent on the ls1 swap and put it in your car

Well circumstances made me sell it that cheap. It was in mint condition with full bolt ons. Ran great but house payments and being laid off don't mix
