Default Casey Schnieder or Greg Good

Anybody know these head porters? I've posted on this subject a few times, but I'm not going to pull the trigger on porting my heads until I get the right guys. They have come up on this site, corvette forum, and through google searches as the best in the area. Looking to make 485-500rwhp out of my stock ls6 with a fast 90/92intake. Not wasting my time on patriot heads or other heads that don't make big power. Looking at serious head porters with proven cars. Thanks.

Greg is worth the wait.

But with so many good cnc'd heads out there I use the Trick flow 215's milled to 59cc's.

Agree on all points. Greg is slow, but man, he's good. Of course, with the outstanding new CNC heads out (don't forget the new AFR 215s and PRC 215s), there's really no need to go hand-ported.

If you can actually get Casey to do your heads, you will have a hard time finding anybody better to do a set of LS6's.

Glenn Behrens in Round Rock. He has been building engines for 20+ years and does a lot of Outlaw, 10.5 tire, Texas Pro Stock etc. builds.

Excellent head porter. PM me for contact info if you want to check him out. He has a rudimentary website. Search for Glennsmachine and you will find it.

Thanks Patrick, I would like to stay NA and not break the bank. RobZ, (9.33 NA 388 car, sure who know who I am talking about) has his guy that will do it for around $700. With the results he is getting, out of his car, I think it would be worth my time to talk to his head porter. I am going to talk with Rob via PM's when he gets back from vacation. BTW, very impressive setup on your car.

Mike, you still have that c5 compressor lying around for me? Sorry for not getting out to you guys, but I'll be out there soon. I don't think I can justify the cost of the Trick Flow's since I won't be doing the labor. I know $700 is on the extreme low side for serious heads, when compared to the Trickflow, AFR, Cartek, Etc.

Either one mentioned in the title will get you a set of cylinder heads where you want but 700 dollars will not even allow them to touch those things. LOL

Thanks, but yeah, I figured that I am probably looking at 1500-2000 to have one of them do ls6 heads.

I just read Patricks thread on 500rwhp NA. What a fantastic read. But it got me thinking about drivability. Am I going to suffer any throttle response, low RPM drivability by porting the 243's?
