Getting Called out by NSX owner at Work
I have no idea what he has, but I know he is not running any type of forced induction or nitrous. He has never been to the track so he does not know what it will run, according to what he tells people. He plans on adding a procharger next month. I am the assistant aquatics directors at a Private Club, and he is a Tennis Pro.
We have seen each other get into our vehicles, and have passed in the mess hall, but never talked. For the last week, he has been telling others that he can beat my car. I never talk to anybody about my car here, because hardly any employees have cars that are fast.
So about 5 minutes ago, I get a call from one of the managers that he is still talking about beating my car, saying that "he can beat a corvette".
I kind of want to put money on it, and get it on video. Just unsure what I am getting in to. My car should trap 121-123mph. It was trapping 118 with just headers and cold air.
Car has #375 license plate(texas plates). Should be good, hope he will actually run! Got a camera ready.

They look good but are slow. You will win easy, i am almost certain they are at best a high 13 low 14 car.
It's probably the most overpriced underperforming excuse for an exotic ever. I would put quite a large amount of money on you dragging his *** all the way down the highway from the hit til you lift.

Curb Weight: 3153 lbs.
Base Number of Cylinders: 6 Base Engine Size: 3.2 liters
Base Engine Type: V6 Horsepower: 290 hp
Max Horsepower: 7100 rpm Torque: 224 ft-lbs.
Max Torque: 5500 rpm Drive Type: RWD
And that's assuming he has an '05 and it's the 3.2l. If he has the 3.0l, he only has 252hp 210tq

Still waiting on him to respond. I can't directly confront him, technically he is higher up than I am and I've been at my job for 12 years. I can very easily get in serious trouble by anything that can be taken as confrontational. I am trying to set it up through a 3rd(restaraunt manager) party since I don't know him, or casually ask him the next time I see him. Remember, I don't know the guy and don't want to risk my job, but would like a couple hundred extra in the pocket and a nice kill video.
I took a few pics of the car earlier. Race isn't happening tonight, he has not responded.

I'd calmly talk to the guy in the parking lot one day. Just catch his attention and then start asking him (politely) about his car. Ask to check out the engine and talk to him about what he's done. He may be stock, he may have done some work. You never know. If you're confident, ask him for a run.

MY LT1 really put the beating on one up here. I was sideways and peddalin it and still blew past his *** like he was standing still.

Maybe... You have a Z06. No problem whatsoever, especially since he has no nitrous or forced induction.
You got this. Vids plz
