Default So, I just had my first Craigslist scam

I met a guy at Fry's yesterday and bought a Nano from him. It was in great shape, is 5th gen, came with a case, charger, etc. He told me it was a 16GB. However, when I got home to Sync it, it said it was an 8GB. He lied to my face in the parking lot. I'm a bit pissed off. I sent him a text saying it's an 8, not 16, and that he should give me the money back. I memorized his license plate as he was driving off. I kind of have a habit of doing that just in case.

If that doesn't work, I might try to trade it plus cash for a 16GB with someone else.

Yeah, there are still honest people out there, but most of the time, especially in this economy, people will feed you crap to get more money...

When I was in the parking lot, I looked at the back and it didn't say anything. This is actually my first IPOD, too.

Older iPhones, new ones don't.

iPod's don't either, although, you could have gone into "settings" then to "general" then to "about" and then it will show all of information on the phone...netowrk, how many songs, videos, photos, apps, capacity, available capacity, what software version, etc. etc.

Yeah, your first iPod, there are things you will figure out later on that you wish you new earlier. Haha!

I've had an iPhone for 2 years now, and i just recently bought a MacBook Pro.

I absolutely LOVE apple products!

I have a stock head unit that works great, but now I need to have someone rig up a 3.5mm jack. A guy on here is supposed to do it, but I haven't been able to get a hold of him.

CL can be great or it can suck.

Biggest issue I have with it is everybody lowballing the crap out of you, or saying they want it but never show.

Now When I sell stuff I just tell them, first come, first served....

The new nano's don't have the GB. I know the Touch's do have it and so do the classics, but not the nanos for some reason.

Yeah, people on CL are looking for a deal. When I get lowballed, I ask if they can do something that's a bit closer to my price.
