Default Trustworthy tranny rebuilder in DFW?

Hello,

I'm looking for a reliable, rebuilt 700R4 and would like to get it somewhere local. Nothing fancy or super high performance. I'm just going to put it behind a 5.3L with a mild cam.

Thanks,
Jeff

I know Texas Drive-train and Performance rebuilds T-56's, but I'd check with them first.

Thanks. Looks though like he just does manual transmissions? Any recommendations for auto tranny's?

Jeff

We use plano transmission. They have a good reputable shop over there. My dad sends them 3-5 transmissions a week. If you call over there talk to Jeff if you can. He is the owner.

i had my tranny built by ACE Racing transmission. i dont know if they are still around. but my tranny is almost 2 years old and still great. After getting my stage 2 built, i took it on a 1100 mile road trip and no problems at all.
