Thumbs up Issue Resolved With Andrew/Andres/Andy Lopez

Everything has been resolved. I have spoken to Andres' lawyer, and we have come to an agreement on what/when he is going to pay me on a legally binding contract. $500 today, $500 this coming Friday, and $1000 on October 1st for a total of $2200 (since he already paid me $200).

I want to thank Andres for doing the right thing and giving me at least some of the money back for everything he caused. Maybe he can salvage some sort of respect by having done this.

In the contract it states that I need the old thread deleted, so I have deleted it. Please do not post any threats, or insults in here, lets keep it clean.

Thanks for all the support. If you have any questions on this, please PM me.

Was an invoice created that had a list of parts and prices on it? I'm guessing the $800 was for labor for doing whatever he did? Why all of a sudden did a lawyer get involved? Did he not like you pushing so hard to get your money back and decided to get one or did you do this based on your desire to have an IOU created?

Edit: Just re-read where you stated it was his lawyer. He's just covering his *** IMO.

Does it state that once it's paid, it absolves him of all responsibility regarding this matter, etc etc? If not, one he's paid you off, I'd be sure to go after him for Lost Wages, Emotional Damages, whatever else would fly and get a judgement against him and his company (and any future income through wage garnishment) to make up for all the other money you lost and the crap he put you through for 6 weeks.

Either way - congrats on getting something back.

^Agreed. I want to hear.

Also, so what happened to all the parts you bought that were never installed? Does he get to keep them to re-sell?

My understanding is that he gave Andrew money to buys parts to install, never gave him actual parts.

I gave him the heads, patriot duals, headers, arp head bolts, gaskets, and some other things. The rest he told me he was going to "get from a **site sponsor name edited out**", and I paid for that stuff in cash.

It's a shame it all came to this, In my book at a buiness sence you should never have to try to make things right from your behalf. Quote the job, do the job, establish a relationship.
My .02 Glad y'all worked it out

I'm still owed money and other people here are owed parts or refunds.
What's his lawyer's name and contact info? I'm sure they would like to get "contracts" also.
