What the heck? lol.

Seriously, the swirls are driving me crazy. I also need to get my side windows re-tinted, too. Blah.

Oh, swirls? How the hell you get those? And wax should get rid of the small swirls and act as rain-x. I guess you could bring it by where I work, they usually do small **** like that for free.

If you have scratches in your windshield, you just need to have it replaced or live with it. And next time, don't neglect your wiper blades. I have seen that a lot and there's no cure. You can't really polish glass. Glass is a liquid, so I need you to polish my bottle of water. It doesn't work.

Glass is porous tho, so waxing it does make water bead off of it. Rain-X is just a very thing wax that fills in all the "holes" in glass to make it perfectly smooth. If you have a scratch in the glass that you can feel with your finger nail, it's not repairable...

Well, I got the car when it was nine years old. I guess I don't remember it being this bad, so maybe it is my fault the past three years.

How much is a new windshield?

you can get one installed in your driveway for between 225 and 400 depending on who you use and what kind of bullshit warranty they get you to buy or the quality of the install...

You can get one less than that if you look around also. There is a guy we use at work that is really cheap. I am guessing around $150.

This is what I would try with a DA and glass cutting pads.

From experience I would pay the extra cash for PPG glass, it doesn't break or crack when a bug hits it!

If you were in Ft. Worth, I'd give you a number for an independent guy that does them pretty cheap. He does all the BMW glass and windshield trim for us.

Ugh. It's not bad enough to warrant replacing the entire damn windshield. I was just wondering if it's possible to polish out the swirls and scratches and what not.

Hit t with some 000 or 0000 steel wool with windex then hit it with some rainx. Clean inside with microfiber and no windex. Mine usually come out perfect
