Inspection time, Where to go in Austin/Round Rock?
I just finished up my car, and I need to go get the title transferred, registered, and inspected. Anyone know a good inspection hookup in Round Rock or Austin? I use to know a guy who would just sell me stickers. lol I was also thinking about registering in nearby Bastrop county to avoid emissions problem.

Not too sure. It's been a year since I've had my car on the road. Prior to this I was just buying inspection stickers from a friend of a friend. I think as long as you do not have a check engine light or no codes set off, they won't tail pipe it, but once again not too sure.

So you got your motor back? Let me know if you need to use my engine lift, since I'm not using it for a while. Still wanted to ask if you could help me with the front bumper cover alignment.

Problem for me is I need to register this car, and Williamson county requires a printout of your emissions test to register a vehicle not previously registered in an emissions county. I bought the car as a roller in San Antonio, but I live in Round rock/Williamson county. I'm trying to find a loophole such as registering in a non-emissions county where I don't have to show proof of inspection test. I figured I could just change my addy on my insurance to my friends place in Bastrop county, go register my car, then find a friendly inspection place that really won't check anything or find a sticker somehow.
