Default ls6 intake

Before I buy this I am just making sure. 02 as intake would be ls6 right? Have a Guy wanting 55 bucks. That was standard production for 01 and 02 right

Yes, 01 and 02 intakes are LS6 intakes...make sure you get a part number off the intake...These cars have changed hands enough times over the years, so verify its the correct 01/02 part number and not some LS1 intake that just got tossed on while de-modding.

Part numbers for reference

The old LS1 intake with the EGR setup is 12560688.

The Stock 2001-2002 F-body LS6 is 12561184.

The Z06 LS6 is 12573572.

These are the numbers stamped on the manifold

Also just cause it don't have a opening for the egr don't mean it's a ls6, the older Corvette comes with a ls1 intake that looks like a ls6,best thing to do is Google the cast number. ...

The casting number on the ls1 intake that looks exactly like a ls6 is 12556333,so double check before buying one....

I do believe there were some LS1 intakes made without the egr port also. So its best to go off the casting numbers.
