Default New paint, what do you think..

So I painted my white ws6...went with what appears to be the mazda mica grey. I just picked the color I wanted and didn't care about what it was called.
It was only 880 dollars so I didn't expect much out of it, there is over spray on my rims and my tips are completely coated in over spray. They also broke both of my power mirrors and didn't paint inside the hatch area, so you can see the white from outside of the car from the huge gap on either side. I'm going to mask it off and just spray paint it myself with some krylon fusion paint. They also sprayed over my codes on the door...oh well!
I have to say I just LOVE this color, when it isn't sunny outside it's a totally different color. It has almost a purple/blue hue to it at times and then sometimes it looks black..and it sparkles so nice
Makes it more obvious that I need new tint with a darker car..
Tell me what you think

Looks really good from the pictures. That is very cheap for what you had done. But still no excuse for overspray on your wheels and tips. Those are the things that are easiest to mask off. Who do it?

Looks good from the pictures. Sounds like they didn't care too much about doing a complete job though...
Just don't expect to ever de-badge or remove the side moldings from your car, as I doubt they pulled them off before painting.

Yeah I know for sure they didn't remove them, I don't plan on removing the badges though so it's okay. They for sure didn't care about anything on my car.. I have no idea how to get the paint off of my tips, they were brand new and so are my rims.
I think I can scratch the paint off with my fingernails on the rims, there isn't much and it comes off fairly easy but my tips are bad.

You should care and you should find out. First time you need some touch up work you will be scrambling to find the official name and color codes.

Not trying to sound negative, just giving you advice.

I like how it turned out. Looks good. Unusual color, but unusual in a good way.

Looks awesome for $800, but definitely not anything I would have done to a car that I care about.

I think you should be pissed about all the negatives you posted about.
Color looks good. I'd be so upset (even for paying so little) about the poor quality job.
Get what you pay for I guess.

acetone or paint thinner or even finger nail polish remover will take off the over spray... just dont use too much and clean it off with soap and water afterward

looks good especially for 900$...id be pissed about the stickers on the door you can get the overspray off but those stickers pretty much gone, i mean how much time would it take to lay a couple strips of tape and cut around the edges...

Have a detailer polish your wheels and tips. They can likely use a light cut compound before the finish polish and get the paint off. Plus your car will look even better than before.

I like it, and I think for that price, unless it's your daddy's shop, you should just about expect some overspray like that. Paint jobs for 2 or 3x the price often do. It's not necessarily acceptable, but it is reality. A quick polish, even if you have to pay to get it done, will have those wheels and tips looking as good as new.

As far as the color code I have it on paper so it's not a big deal. Maaco did the work, I'm really not mad about the broken stuff, I signed the paper before I found out about the things wrong so it's all my fault. It's not some horrible thing I have done to my car by choosing a cheaper job, it is all I will ever be able to afford and I saved up for awhile. Not everyone has 2,000 bucks floating around and it's not like anyone out there on the road will ever know it's a cheap job. I don't regret it at all. Btw the reason I didn't see my sprayed tips was because the car was covered in dust and it just looked dirty. My mirrors I didn't notice for a week because they were in the same spot. Rims only had a little near the center cap and at the edges. Sadly my camera went poop after these pics so I can't take any decent ones til later to show the color and oopsies.
