Weather looks too good to be true, perhaps a -1000 DA or better. Talk about mineshaft DA!
I gotta make it out, shooting for 12.699 or better.
See you at 6pm.
The only bummer is the weather indicates a 6-7 mph wind from the north, which means running into a headwind.

Hm...I just got my new converter installed, but I swore I'd never go back to HRP on a Friday night (I HATE waiting 2 hours for a run).
That's some fine air though....tough decision

You know; I was out there last Friday when the nice air was there and the wait wasn't bad at all. It really surprised me to say the least since I have been there on those nights where you have to wait a long *** time

Well I went out. I was in the Silver C6 with black wheels up front and C5 Z06 wheels out back.
I couldn't get traction for anything though.
Best pass of the night was 11.72 and was hitting 119.81mph on my best pass.
It was my first time out with the new yank converter and it was obliterating the tires. I definitely needed this practice under my belt. I'm going to be back out on Sunday and can almost guarantee I'll be bettering those times. Longer burnouts I suppose are in order
It was certainly a fun night though...very few people. Unfortunately that dragster stopped the runs for an hour....
Edit - I wanted to add that it was OUTRAGEOUS how many people weren't showing times tonight. Makes it very boring to watch.

Great driving, Maddox. Way to pull a tire with only tires and a tune! Might be a record for a stock 5.0 with the stock airbox/exhuast.
Saw a lot of guys pulling some nice 60ft's. Just a hit and miss with HRP, and have to work your way around the conditions and adjust.

I was having problems in both lanes...but it is what it is. Every night can't be the best night
You're right though. I saw a LOT of people getting loose tonight...more of the bias ply tires seemed to be doing fine versus drag radial guys.

My Nitto NT05R were biting pretty good.
I was real proud of my grocery getter with only a partial tune, dr's, and a cai hitting four 12.6 runs. The tune will be completed when I get the Yank 3200 and a set of ARH long tubes with catted midpipes. 4200 pounds is quite a load to haul down the quarter.
Here is one of my 12.6 second runs against a Shelby.

Time to update that sig Good video as well; I wish someone would post mine up on youtube, however not everyone tags their videos with HRP and etc so I would likely never find it.
I heard that I pulled a wheel on my first launch but will never know

I can confirm that D's left front wheel did lift.
