Can a member in Dallas do me a quick favor? Would like to see if someone could stop by and check out a car for me. It's for sale at a used car lot up there. Just give it a 10 minute once over (more if you are willing). I'd like to see if it would be worth the 3+ hour drive each way to come up there and check it out in person. I'll run the Carfax tomorrow. Didn't get a chance today.
Car is in 75229. Not far from I-35E and I-635 interchange.
I'll PM details if someone local can just swing by and give me a quick report. I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks guys! I shot you both a PM with the details. I really appreciate it. 
I drove to Houston 2 weekends ago, looked at a car for 10 minutes, and jumped back in my truck to drive all the way right back home.
It was that bad in person, but looked good in pics and the owner was either stupid enough or dishonest enough that I didn't have the true idea of the car until I got there.
I just want a good pair of eyes on it to make sure it has no deal breakers before I spend an entire day to go look at it.

I think MR2liter and Robbie have me covered. I shot them a long PM with a list of stuff, but it's just all of the basic things you look at when examining a used car. Mechanical and cosmetic condition, presence of mods, see if they can tell if it's been hit, condition of fluids. etc. etc. etc. If they report back that it's in good shape then I'll go up there and give it the full monte.
