Default New motor with Dyno Numbers

Over the holidays I pulled the LS1 out of the Mustang and put a cam only LS3 in it. The motor is 100% stock other than a cam from 21st Century Muscle in Dallas.

The car is a coupe Mustang, Cam only LS3, Stock intake, 85mm TB, 4L60e transmission with Yank Converter and 373 gears.

In December I went an 11.53 with a cam/Intake LS1. Friday I will be going back to HRP to see how much improvement I made. This is a full Interior street car with 17" wheels, not a gutted coupe.

Flaco did the tune on it today and this is the results.

Here is a picture of the car for those that don't know it. I have a different set of wheels on it now.

Nothing to do with "Houston Stock"

This motor is all stock other than the Cam, springs, push rods and timing chain. I bought the heads from LMR so I'm sure Steven can vouch for them being stock.

How much power did the ls1 make? Is this an auto or 6 speed car? That ls3 makes some good power with a cam only. I am impressed, there is alot more potential with a set of heads. Congrats.

Stalled auto and its a cam only. I thought about buying heads but I figured they would hurt me since I do not plan to do any more to it than the cam and a 150 shot.

I do not know what the LS1 made. It had a V3 cam and a FAST 78 Intake only

That is a beautiful car. Love that color. The best of both worlds, a light *** coupe and and the almighty lsx. Outstanding job. My wife had a brand new 91 4 cyl green coupe years back. I wish we still had it to play with.

Yes, front and rear seats, Dyna mat on the floors, All A/C components under the dash. Waiting on a little money then it will be off to get the A/C put on.

Just some BS Solid Black 5 Spoke wheels. The look ok on the car but I'm going to buy some nice wheels when I kill the tires. The 500 had Bald tires and 18" tires are not cheap. Besides the 500's were a little beat up with curb rash and a chunk was taken out of one of the lips.

I wanted 17" rims because the tires are more affordable. A member from my board offered to trade me rim and tires and his tires were brand new...
