Default Houston area shop for ls1 electrical problems?

Guys - first thanks for reading.

I've got my brother's 98 z28 throwing 2 codes P0803/P0102.
Narrowed it down to either a bad wiring harness or perhaps bad connections?
Keeps blowing the ENG fuse. (reverse is locked out - already swapped the reverse lockout solenoid)

Anyways, I tried dealing with Craigslist mobile mechanics - nightmare. No one would even show up.

I'm trying to find someone who is knowledgeable about LS1's so this problem won't be a learning class.

I'm in Houston - please let me know.

Thanks
Mike

Follow the wires for the O2 sensors make sure the wires are not cut or frayed and touching up against anything metal.

I'm on the southeast side - but I'm willing to drive around to get an experienced mechanic.

I've already been up and the down the bottom of the car. I pulled the wires out of the hose and everything looks good. I don't have headers either.
I'll double check each O2 sensor again - seems to be the common problem but again, those guys had LT headers installed.

Thanks for the replies though.

To my knowledge performance shop labor rivals dealer pricing.. the car is a basic z28, not some of these h/c/fi cars I see on here. If I'm wrong, someone correct me.
I can give Greg a call and see what he's looking at for his time nonetheless.

Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

To be Honest it may be cheaper to just buy a harness for $100.00 and Install it. If you take it to a shop that charges 100+ and hour and they spend all day looking for the problem you will have a healthy bill.

It will take about an hour or 2 to swap a harness

I've seen them on here and Craigslist from $100.00 - $150.00

If your car is an auto make sure you buy an auto harness

Ok, ebay's pricing was absurd.
I'll throw a post on the for sale section. It is a 6spd so thanks for update.
