Default Question to police officers...

Well I've been wondering about something that could help me out when driving around. Let's say you have group of about 5 cars speeding on the hwy one behind the other, and the officer happends to get them on his radar gun. Who would the officer stop? Would he go for the first car or the last one or in the middle of the pack? I hope the question makes sense lol...

Probably the lead car if I could get to it easily. If not, because of heavy traffic or whatnot, the last guy gets it.

So the thing to would be to be in the middle... well then again I had a friend that was in the middle of the group and yet he was the one that got stop. We think that he got stopped cuz he had was driving his z, so compare to all the other cars his stood out.

I had a CHP tell me "don't ever be the lead or last guy in a pack"

I've also seen a CHP pull over multiple cars before.

I've been pulled over along with a mustang that I was racing many moons ago.

I have been rolling in a fast pack a few times and had cops blow past me to get the first guy but of course there is always that one guy that is being stupid or going a little faster than the rest so that is probably why he got pulled over.

I'll go with, if only one person gets pulled over it will be the one in the rear. So, always have one slow friend come along on any road trip.

Your cops actually write speeding tickets?

Ours (College Station) will watch a half dozen cars blow a red light or some sorority chick weave all over three lanes of traffic without doing a damn thing...but let them find some soccer mom back out of her driveway without buckling her seatbelt and they'll jump on it like a box of fresh doughnuts. They target the easy money...not the tickets that can be disputed...

You'd think street racing and running red lights would be an easier bust than not buckling up.

It would be nice if the troopers were as forgiven... I got a stupid ticket for going 6 miles over... he liked my car but it want enough to get just a warning.

Yea DPS usually never gives anybody a break. Usually it's 10mph + before I'd write a ticket unless they just talk themself into one.
