Default Texas Mile ?'s

Gonna make the trek down there this year.

Just wanna know where everybody stays at (hotels) and where all the street action is gonna b and how far away from the airfield it is...?

Goliad, and go ahead and try that street action there and see what happens. Its a VERY biased legal system!

I know its in Goliad man. What I am askin is.... The mile event is at the airfield. Where does everyone stay and I know there is some street action at night but not in Goliad. Basically I wanna know where to book my hotel where its in driving distance of everything..

i may not be in the "in crowd' but i havnt heard of any street action! most people stay up there with their campers from what i can tell

damn...aint going as fast as you can from a standing start for a mile enough...**** I didn't want to street race for awhile after beating my vette up running the texas mile??? I didn't see any nice hotels there...it was sad actually....lol

It's probably not the best place for street racing. Come to Houston the week before if you want to tangle with fast cars. My car will be trapping around 137-138mph in the next couple weeks, and I can tell you that isn't even fast enough to play with the slower cars that will be around the TX2K11 street action.

Yeah, nothing really to do once the sun goes down besides drink beer and hang out.
