Default Difference in 98 and 99+ harness/computer?

I picked up a 98 formula roller a few months ago and finally got the motor in and ready to go just to find out the damn injector harnesses had been cut off so I either find the connectors and splice them in or buy a new harness. Only problem is I dont know if its a 98pcm or a 99+, how can I tell?

Your pcm should have a white label on it. Post up a picture of it. You can also tell of the harness is a 98 or 99 buy looking at the amount of connectors running into the hole on the passenger side of the firewall. 2 connectors it's a 99+harness. 3 connectors it's a 98 harness.

98 pcm needs a 98 harness. The pin layout at the pcm connectors are completely different from 98 to 99+.

Check ebay or the classifieds here for a 98 harness. I got mine for about $125.
