Talking My 27th Birthday Present (Hint: It makes a big boom)

Haven't posted in a while so I thought I'd share my birthday present from myself to myself with you guys and gals. Been meaning to pull the trigger on buying one of these (pun intended), but never could justify for no reason. Birthday came around this year quick and finally had some spare cash which my car somehow did not seem to need.

I'll be taking it to the range this weekend, if anybody is interested in results I'll be sure to post up when I'm done. At the moment its just iron sights as you see in the pic, but I've been looking at the Leupold VX-3L 6.5-20x56mm Long Range Extreme Varminter. Anybody have any other suggestions or preferences regarding scopes? Looking for long range scopes, ultimate goal is going to be 400-600 yard target practice.

Happy Birthday to ME!!

P.S I know I uploaded a stock image file from RRA, I'm too lazy to create a photobucket account and upload it. Boo hoo...

Night force, schmit bender, us optics, premier heritage, or nikon or the mark 4 those two are more seasonably priced. But you can definitely tell the difference between the higher end optics!

Walk out a bit over $1500. Now I need to start accessorizing it, this is where it can get expensive.
