Default RESSURECTING MY 30th Ann. WS6

Sup guys, well as some of you guys know I jus bought a 1999 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 30th Ann. I picked it up Friday afternoon in Robstown and brought it home that same night. I will be restoring it back to new, anything that doesnt need to be replaced will be cleaned and touched up with paint. I bought it as a roller and now im debating if i should drop in a stock set up or fully built. Either way this car will not be race or mistreated. I will be posting up pics of the car as it goes through the stages. By the time im done this car will be showroom new. Comments and suggestion are welcome.....ENJOY

Pic of it when I picked it up from Robstown

Following morning at my house, taking the rear wheels off so the tires wont leak air.

Taking off the front end completly so I can recoat the engine bay.

My little one supervising

Jus need to remove the lines and heater hoses.

The boring part "WET SANDING"

If I finish wet sanding, ill be hailing it down the block to my shop so my guys can start preping for paint...KEEP YA POSTED

Very cool.

I remember seeing it when Dirty 30 had it, lambo doors and blue neons I believe. It is nice to see someone bringing it back to showroom clean.

Man that is one nice project
Your daughter reminds me of mine
My 4 year old brings me my ratchet and says I'll do it
My son was breaking down my wheels and new how to bleed brakes by the age of six

Keep the updates going

I would say to build a mild heads and cam LS1 for the motor. Then some nice suspension upgrades like shocks, LCAs and SFCs. Keep everything else stock. That would make kind of a modern resto-mod.
