Default Ls2 to lq9 swap.

What year model has The knock sensors on the side of the block? And the correct crank for my 6 speed?

Ly6 has thicker crank flange than lq motors
Only lq4 with thicker crank flange is 99/00 and came with iron heads

Will bolt to it but the flywheel will be out too far to even engage.

I just want to verify the engine I'm going to to look at is a 2008 silverado engine. 6.0 iron block with vvt and l92 heads. My understanding was all the ls motors bolt to the ls t56 with the exception of the old lq motors.

Quick Reply: Ls2 to lq9 swap.
