alright guys im thinking of going a little faster in my auto z28 and with ahouse payment and bills money is tighter than before so im on a budget,if yall know someone that can install a cam swap or maybe a head swap then lmk,i do have some cash but cheaper is better for me.

parts have not been bought yet,just throwing it out there.

I would get the parts you want first..... then see if someone on here might do it on the side in your area.

Most of your cost will be in the parts.

But just remeber you will also need to get your car tuned.

I paid $730 for cam, springs, pushrods. retainers. thats no labor.

700 was for labor only,thats why i threw it out there i havnt been in a shop in a longtime and i thought that was high.

i can get pac 1518 springs good to .650 for 150
cam looking for low 230s under 620lift-------360

You should look to spend about half that in labor.

Some places will do it lower.

Generally I charge 300 for a cam swap and 700 for heads and cam. That price depends on how much the owner helps me and how busy I am at the time. Id do it for you but Im in the process of moving and got a ton of other stuff going on. If you need it done closer to the end of the year I could help you out otherwise Im sure you could find someone around here to do it.
