Default Need a car appraiser DFW area.

I need to get my WS6 appraised for insurance purposes. I have had a lot of work done to my car in the last few months plus I'll be getting more done over the next few months. I want to make sure my Insurance company has a record of the value incase something ever happened.

Need to find someone in the DFW area.

I should be getting the car detailed this weekend by BadCompany VP WS6 if he has time. So if you need to take photos for whatever reason.

Who do you use? Haggerty's? I have Amica for my other cars but they wouldn't touch my Formula. I ended up with Grundy and they didn't require an appraisal for an Agreed Value policy on it. Did I get the wrong policy? Haha

I use AllState.. But with all the changes I have done to the car they said it would be best to have this done.

Your insurance limits you to how much you can drive.. I just pay for full coverage.

Plus with me going turbo.. I will have alot more in the car as well.

I know I won't get what I have in it if something happens but it will be a lot better if I have this done.

Not the same thing they would have a motive to quote the car higher then what the car is worth.

This is the reason you pay someone to do this. They have nothing to gain besides telling you what the car is truly worth. Plus appraisal company name means a lot to a insurance company on who does it.

Geico, Amica and I thought allstate all rejected coverage on the formula (and approved the others) because it had modifications made to the drivetrain. Geico told me even changing the exhaust would void their coverage which I thought was ridiculous and I'm still not sure I believe.

If Allstate is cool with all the modifications that's awesome.

Yes they are fine with it ... My agent is a member on here lol

She knows what my car has.

Hell her husband is also a member here he has a bad *** 2002 Turbo Trans Am.

She gave me a great deal on my Homeowners insurance and Auto. Saved almost $400 a year just switching to Allstate.

Better coverage too!!

I don't street race ....So I don't know why it would matter what my car had done to it. Just fixing it up to have fun with it.

Shoot me a PM with your agent's info or send her mine - I'd be interested in talking with her.
