5.3 Truck question.... this might be a "dumb" question or just a noob one....but I'd like to make sure is all... soo what's the normal engine temp on GM trucks??? I have my 05 GMC with the 5.3 and it seems to jump up to 209*-210* pretty quick, like 5-10min quick....reason I ask is that all my cars have had a 160* or 180* T-stat put it, so I'm used to seeing 170*-180* tops..... soo umm is this normal??? haha......tried searching for an answer via google, and the search with no luck, always came up with Trans temps...
