What the **** is this ****, Houston Chronicle? You printed this crap?

Houston Texans linebacker Mario Williams, left, shows Houston Police Chief Charles A. McClelland, right, look at his Williams' Chevrolet Camaro outside the Houston Police Department Central Patrol Division Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011, in Houston.

Look carefully, it looks like it has a front police bumper. Between "Police Chief" you can see white car and then a black looking bar.

Hmmm. Maybe it's the Chief's car.

why would someone donate to a govt funded organization? whats wrong with a usual police cruiser thats probably 1/2 as much? and honestly wouldnt the donation money be MUCH better spent giving it to the likes of Cancer Research?

You may be on to something. I have done some work for him in the past and been in the car with him a few times. He drives like us

I agree, completely. Those funds would have made a bigger impact to the Texas Childrens Hospital or some other organization that helps children. Or even a fraction of what one of those boats cost couldve been donated and madea difference to Houston Food Bank or some other similar charity that helps kids.
been seeing lot of fat cops puttin up "traffic" checkpoints all over h in uturns. Lately.
Just chillin pullin people over. They dont need a single one of those cars imo.
Maybe its a future get out of jail free card

The value of 5 camaro's wouldn't do **** for cancer research, unfortunately that's just how it is.

I'd agree with the get out of jail free card, plus it's a big tax write off. I am thinking of stripping my 01 SS and donating it to the high school for that.

Talking about fat cops setting up traffic checkpoints; There is this one Fat *** cop that parks his bike inside a neighborhood then walks his fat *** to the stop sign then waits for a car that doesnt have updated tags to single to pull over. This happens at least once a week at the 4 way stop on highland knolls and 99 in katy. Last time he tried to pull this **** on me i just ran, my house is down the street and i was willing to bet his fat *** wont be able to catch up to me

Yeah. **** that guy for donating to the police!

I'd much rather him be out organizing dog fights, finishing off the loser dogs, shooting people in clubs, raping women, or groping underaged girls in bar bathrooms.

This is $XXX,XXX of money HPD will not have to spend on cruisers. Said saved money can go into other programs such as going after sexual predators, rapists and murderers. Or, it could go into a fund specifically for aiding families of officers killed in the line of duty.

Terrible choice, Mario. You're just a terrible guy.

My mom has had cancer, but you know what? If everyone only donated to cancer charities, other charities and organizations designed to help people wouldn't get the funds they need to make things better. My suggestion? Quit whining.
