Default Place to paint Fast intake?

Does anyone know of a good place in the Houston area (preferrably south side) where I can get my Fast intake painted?

Scott, I've got a real good guy that could probably do that, but he's on the north side around 1960 and Cutten Rd

Personally i would take it to Tim Lane. Ive seen too many shops try and fail with painting intakes leaving a less than desirable finish or it looks great at first and a year later the paint has stretched and cracked or flaked off. You can reach Tim at 713) 944-6893 . His shop is located in south houston off hwy 3 & nevada st

I painted my FAST myself, it's not too hard, and the paint never chipped when I had it on...

I did the same. I painted my LS6 intake when I had it, and it came out fine. I don't think there's any particular process that you would take any differently than painting anything else. If you POWDERCOAT it there's a difference, and I think that might be what everybody is thinking about.

That being said, no matter what you do, it's under the hood and it's gonna get nicks and stuff here and there, especially if you're pulling it off the car and putting it back a lot
