07 cummins pulls stuck semi
saw this semi stuck today when i was leaving work. called up my friend that has been dying to use his 4 wheel drive. so we put his truck to the test. there were a few other attempts before this one but obviously this is the most important one.
DISCLAIMER: sorry about me yelling. i was pretty excited when he pulled it out, my iphone picks up sound really good so it is extra LOUD!

as i already knew this and aknowledge your statement. the fact of the matter is that he wasn't going anywhere trying to do it by himself he had been trying to for atleast 20 minutes and got no where. his right front tire is what was stopping him, it was almost down to the rim in mud. i should have takin pics. but yes once the truck got a little speed im sure he could of gotten out by himself but he couldnt. so

On this job the main line was .420 wall, with the heavy wall pipe getting up to .825 wall, and different thicknesses in the .5-.6 range. .825 wall pipe weighs about 360lbs a foot, meaning A single 80' stick of .825 pipe weights about 29k lbs, you can only haul one piece at a time or you are over legal weight (80k gross). I'm sure you already know all this
I took the picture about 4 years ago so I don't recall the exact wall thickness, but it wasn't the main line .420 wall because we could haul three pieces and still gross out at just under 80k.
Who do you work for?
