They are screws that go through the lip of the wheel into the bead of the tire. They keep the wheel from spinning inside of the tire.

We have done a bunch
Just make sure you can drop them off because it does take time

$108.00. That is for drilling the wheels, installing screws, mounting tires with tubes, and balancing. Just a heads up, the pro stars arent very thick on the lip, I wouldnt recommend mounting and dismounting more than you absolutely have to, the holes to wear out on theses wheels and you will have to angle the screws in sideways to make them catch after they do that. (Speaking from personal experience) but if you are only using them for racing and only changing them once a season or so you will be fine. You are bringing your own screws right? And just to make sure that is for 8 screws per side. 32 screws total.
Thanks

It’s simple to do yourself. Summit makes a template kit if you need that to help evenly space the screws. Can also make your own template out of a piece of cardboard. Take your time, use baby power on the inside of the tire so the tube moves freely when installed. I bought and took my own baby powder to the tire shop. You know its bad when a tire shop has to have the baby powder use explained to them. Can get the screw dimensions from summit and just get them from the hardware store. Once the tires and tubes are installed...run the screws into the drilled holes with a well charged power drill. Do not use a ratch or wrench to drive in the screws...trust me on that one. GL...If you were closer Id offer to help, Im just not in your neighborhood
