Default plastidip on wheels

So guys i was thinking of spraying plastidip on my billet specialty street lites centers. But was not sure if it could damage the wheels since its bare aluminum. Want to do a flat black. The paint could acctualy protect my wheels from scratches n road rash also. Give me so thoughts fellas.
