Default What should I sell my ls1 for

I have a stock ls1 90,000 miles.

If I was to sell the long block how much do you think I can get for it?

You should pull everything off of it and sell me the bare block.

Appreciate it. To answer your question, if you sold it complete with ECM, $2500 easy. Without ECM, maybe $2000? Regardless, I wouldn't take less than $1500 for the complete motor. Should sell pretty quickly.

just to give you an idea, they're listed all over the place ranging anywhere from $800-$2500...a lot of them in the 40-50k mile range are usually around the 1200 mark... hope that helps.. just giving you input from what I have seen when I was looking at used motors for my car..

edit: meant to say that the ones going for 2-2500 usually have transmissions and ECU's with them as a pull outs

That's not bad at all, some guy told me I would be lucky to get $500.... I was thinking about asking 1200 for mine. It's out of an 02 camaro

w/o an intake or with an LS1 intake, it is about $800-$1000.

LS1's just aren't worth much as they are all older, and it is hard to tell the pampered ones from the ones most people on here own.

I see you are in Victoria. This weekend it might be worth more than usual.

With intake, just need it gone. I'm making room for the new motor going in!

Wow, seems like I was about a grand high on my estimates. Didn't realize they were going for so little lately.

If you can verify condition, it would be worth about 1200.... but, after you pull it and its on the ground the price generally goes down... Id never pay a premium price for a motor I couldnt see run... if possible, leave it in the car.. if its got good pressure and such, you will get a premium price.. ask 1800, take 1200 and run.. haha
