Default River radio version 4

Well alot of y'all saw the one from last year it had 8 6x9s and two amps, this year I'm stepping it up a bit with 12 6x9s and 3 amps and the quality of it is goin up as well,

It's gonna have battery trays that fit down inside the tube to keep a lower center of gravity, it's also gonna have a pa system that will go through all 12 speakers and it will have an iPod interface which has a separate screen and controller that will be mounted on the outside of the box so once you plug in iPod everything will be controlled from the outside of the box, and everything will be powered by 2 caterpillar 1000 cca batteries

This one will be fiberglassed and painted lime green<~~per request of the wife

Here is a pic of the old one

And here is the start of the new one

Got a lil more done last night, got the radius on and it def added the look I was hoping for and got the lid installed but the 3/4 peice of plywood is warped so bad I'm gonna take it off and get another sheet and make new lid,
New speakers will be in this week then I'll finish the speaker rings and get those mounted

For everyone who likes to float, you need to check the rules for what river you're going to float. A LOT of rules have changed since last year and floating the guadalupe near new braunfels is all but outlawed now.

Carrying the tubes and cooler is enough of a pita, **** carrying all the ****.

The best place and safest is dons fish camp in San Marcos. No rules and very very few cops.

Yea the rules have changed but they only apply in the city limits, where we always float is still the same ole party central it's always been

nah...you can use batteries anywhere.....you connect the battery negative post to the chassis in vehicle applications because a lot of electrical components in the vehicle use the chassis as a source of ground, while still retaining a specific hot wire for each component. in this case, he can ground his amps and head unit straight to the negative post on the battery.
