Default Damn owned by a 5.0....
Didn't realize those things were that fast talk about being left behind, then again my sh*t is stock. What do you guys think of them?

Yeah it was kind of a slap to the face...looks like I got alot of upgrading to do since our cars stock are slow compared to cars these days...

The new 5.0 is pretty stout even in stock form, they dyno 365-380 rw, IIRC.

they are definitely pretty mean in stock form and from what ive seen they respond well to mods

Umm a tuned, intake and exhaust 5.0 can run high 11s... Yah they are fast

Haha not sure thats it. It sounded like it had bolt-ons but it wasn't stock at least not from the way it sounded at WOT

I have a buddy with a 2012. Auto car with CAI, cat-back and is tuned. It lays down a little over 380.

They are quick as hell, had a guy in a 5.0 run me one day leaving work and I only pulled him by about 1/2 a car. I am not stock either, but i did sound like he had exhaust and a manual trans at least but it suprised the **** out of me fo sho.

What year was this 5.0? If it was an older one, could've been an LSx swap lol.

Then again you really can't compare the older LS1 engine to it, they were the best of their time but now the newer LSx engines are bigger and faster and that's what you would compare to the newer engines.

2012 model. True cant really compare them but what gets me is that it's all engine and it's a mustang(no offense lol). Also 5.0 compared to 6.3 the horsepower difference isn't much per cube(at least the rating they got from factory)
