True, but the wait shouldnt be too long now. Plus its so convinient to just drive 30 mins drop off the ride and pick it up when its ready. Then again, Im sure pat is always on the road for one thing or another. I'd just pull a number and wait for him to do it at lethal.

A tuner that locks a PCM after tuning a car is a bullshit tuner. Even if it's a stock car tune you are paying them for a service, your not paying them to prevent you from taking your car somewhere else in the event you change something or are not happy with the services performed. What if that tuner goes out of business. What do you do when you want a retune? When imake an appointment with a new tuner I always ask if they lock the PCM. If they say yes, I'll go somewhere else.

All tunes are different from car to car. If its a bone stock car you could use a general tune. Even if that is done, what happens when you decide to mod your car and the tuner you used when it was stock went out of business or their tuner quit and went somewhere else. Or what if you buy a car from someone who had YOUR car tuned and now you want to do something different with it. Now what do you do. There is no reason to lock someone's after it is tuned. A real tuner will understand that this is a bullshit way to do business.

Both, the guy really takes his time and leaves it street friendly.

Yes sir. Take it out to Patrick G and Kurt in Victoria. It will be done right. The time will be taken to get the drivability and the HP tuning on the dyno perfected.

No because hijacking a tune does you no good in the long run.Being that no two cars are the same you have to put every car on the dyno and tune every piece of the puzzle in order for the car to not only perform but act well on the street. Oh and did I mention Pat G hands down

how do most people do the pat g tunes ? Most shops want to tune it themselves , would you have to tow it to pats shop ?

I've had my car at FIS many different times for numerous different things. Every time they went above and beyond to fix little unrelated things that it wasn't even in for. Willie does an amazing job and has more knowledge about high HP applications than most. They are always willing to help, and absolutely NO job is too small.

Work they have done for me:

H/C/I install
12 bolt install
TH400 conversion
Full front and rear suspension
Custom Wiring Harness
Tune

Even done repairs on my work truck.

Top Notch Shop
