Default 99 Trans am Lights Wink??

Put in a new motor since the old one when out. I did this for the otherside about a yr ago and no problem. The left side on the other hand is a problem i don t think I installed wrong there is only one way it will go in. And the clip only goes on one way as well. so long story short.
Turn on Drivers side comes up. Turn off lights drivers goes down passangers comes up. ECT. Unpluged battery and pluged back in fuses are not popped. I dont know what is going on. Need some help..Any suggestions?

Turn off lights. The headlight that pops up, manually lower it. Turn the lights on again using the switch on the dash. This should reset/sync them up again.
If for whatever reason it doesn't. Turn off lights, and raise both manually. Use switch turn on/off and that should definitely re-sync them.

What the hell??? Thats pretty weird for such a simple headlight motor install. Like you said, there is only one way to install it, I've done it a few times myself. Theres no way to plug it in wrong or get your wires switch since there is a connector...........Do you know why the light went out in the first place? May be some type of electrical issue that might have cause the first motor to go out.

That is what I was thinking just one day to the other it went out. I did manually lower it already. I dont know if it was just a bad motor got it from autozone. it was the rebuilt kind. When i raise the head light up manual the light are all working fine. LOW beams and High beams are on correctly. I dont understand it.

I am going through the same thing right now. It sucks and I have tried everything I could think of. All connections are cleaned so I know that is not the issue. Where did you buy the motor ? Also I did a return on the first motor that did this and the second motor did the same thing.

Either the arm is mounted the wrong way, or you guy's haven't tried my re-sync method.

The arm is supposed to bend down.
