Default LQ9 shortblock?

Long story short, i need a moderate mileage lq9 shortblock. 80k or less. Will be swapping intake/heads/cam ect from my blown ls1 to the lq9 but im having a hard time finding one with less then 120k. Willing to shell out around 1k if i can find one. anyone have any ideas on where i could look? ebay isnt helping much.

Havnt been on the forum lately as i havnt driven my car lately. Work from home and shes a weekend baby now, but the ls1 blew so i gotta get her back on the road. paying roughly 1.5k to rebuild it just isnt an option atm. any tips to finding an lq9 is greatly appreciated.

i had been selling my rebuilt lq9 shortblock but decided to keep and build. now i may sell my 70k lq4 lonblock with mildly ported 243 heads, comp 228-232/588-595/111 cam, comp 7.4 pushrods, pac1218 springs, and ported oil pump. looking at 2,000 for it as it is build already, presently running in my truck, and can save anyone money on labor as it would require swap and accessories. just a thought....

good luck finding an lq9.

appreciate the offer, but i just need the shortblock now. all my top end stuff was not damaged, and i just gotta get her running again. Dont wanna spend 1.5k to rebuild the ls1, just to have the same weak link go out again in the future. figured an lq9 is a million times stronger, plus id gain some tq, all for proly cheaper if i can find one lol

Good luck finding a lq9 or a lq4 out there for that price and miles.
Maybe a lq4, but it wont be no less than a 100k miles.
Sounds like a good ole 5.3 longblock is what u can use to get back on the road.
Reliable motor, cheep and easy to find and buy.
