Default Could this be converter vibration? bad TC?

my car has recently developed a vibration at around 2-3k depending on how hard I accelerate. It also has a vibration when you first begin to accelerate from a stop. The one from a stop only lasts for about 1 second till the rpms get higher. The one at 2k or above will last just a bit longer. Could this be due to the TC beggining to fail? I have checked all the bolts and everything seems ok, It also started leaking oil from the rear a few weeks after this issue came about. Now Im scared to drive it in case the vibration is what caused the rear to leak oil and I dont want it to cause any more damage. Anyone have something similar happen to them?
