I know a lot of guys that tune do not like messing with 98 pcm just looking to get a good tune and not get ripped off .

Just get a 2002 Computer and re-pin your harness. Ive done one without any issues, its just very time consuming

Don't bother swapping the PCM, the only difference is that they don't have as much memory. So unless you are running a speed density tune and want secondary map settings for race gas I just don't see a reason to spend twelve hours re pinning the harness for a new ecu

The good thing about 98's is the dash reads directly from the sensors, where as other years just relay settings from the ecu
