just wondering if I can put long tubes headers since car has big miles

X2, put all the bolt ons you want and it will not effect anything. if you was doing nitrous I will be a little worried...

You can do whatever you want to it. It's how you drive it and maintain it that is more important.

However; getting the stock manifolds off might be quite a chore after 200k miles.

There are plenty of ls1's over 200k miles that are running strong. Do not be worried about hurting the engine they were made to last

Girlfriends 2000 Z has 206k on it.. About to do full exhaust/lid/373s. After than will be a 228R cam and 3400 ptc converter with a tune.

My daily has 160+k on it.. Going to throw a 100 hit to it and pull some timing after I get the pewter car running.

Im not worried about either of them.
