Another Viper
This client was referred to me by the other black Viper I completed not long ago. He had a major stripe issue where a previous detailer ran his buffer over them and it discolored them severely. The car is black with flat black stripes so it almost "brightened up" a few spots making it noticeable. They had a lot of water spotting on them but Meguiars M40 cleaned those up no problem but didn't take care of the discoloration. He plans on still replacing them.
This detail was fairly simple, ONR wash, decon, and a "one step" light correction/protection (two passes). Perfection was not on the agenda today but simply to remove a fair amount of swirling, enhance the shine, and protect the finish. And here we go.
The tools on the agenda today. ORIGINAL PC and Griot's 3" DA.
The finish had tons of random strikes. The MF/D300 took care of those with ease.
I was sad to hear another local detailer who I know left this like this.
CarPro Eraser took care of that no problem.
TAPE MONSTER:
And now the afters. Again, perfection isn't what we were focused on here for this detail.
Here you can see where the previous detailer taped the striping but struck it enough to leave some markings.
Questions/Comments always welcome.
Thanks for checking it out!

Thank you sir!
They were in pretty good shape alright. I lightly polished them up in some spots that had some water spotting.
Thank you good, sir. Did that fella ever get in touch with you? Sent another your way about 3 days ago.

I think the same thing, but have also considered getting it detailed. I have a LOT of clear coat scratches, and a few deep ones. I know the clear coat scratches could be fixed, but I've considered repainting it too.

Well hard to tell from my pictures but my factory ss hood has the clear coat/paint spotting on it. I think the coating peeled off or something. I heard it is a factory defect. PM me what you charge for wheels. I have been meaning to do mine.
